A while back we spent the day at Sam Houston State Park and took some scenic pictures. This picture was taken while we were eating lunch. This is a beautiful park and has wonderful photo spots.

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009At 1:24 Pm, January 10 our grandson, Dawson James was born. Oh, what a bundle of joy. They’re all home now and doing well. The clock in front of the hospital made for a great detail shot. (Oh, and check out the time!)

A Night at the Beach
Saturday, January 17th, 2009Fun, sand, swimming… The beach has a lot to offer. It’s not exactly the white sandy beaches most people think of, but it is our local beach on Prien Lake. One evening after crossing the I 210 bridge, I decided to go down to Lafleur Park and take a few shots at the beach. Here is one of the shots I captured.

New Year's Eve
Thursday, January 1st, 2009Each year we have a New Year’s Eve celebration at our church and it is a great time of games, food, fellowship and we close out the time with communion and singing. Here are a few pictures from the night.
